Mildura Internet was formed in 2003 after owner, Michael Quinn, moved to Mildura from Adelaide with his wife, Fiona Quinn. Michael has 20+ years of experience with computers and has been involved with leading edge technology all along the way. From the first internet access in the mid 1980's, the web in early 90's, to RSS, blogging and podcasting in the last few years. Recently Michael has also been involved in development and testing for the Firefox browser, Open Office and other projects.
Mildura Internet was taken as a business name after working in Website Design for many years. Previous to moving to Mildura, we used the name Double Pepperoni since 2000.
The main goal of Mildura Internet is to help small to medium businesses get themselves a presence on the internet that is good quality at great value.
In 2003 we developed and launched the local tourism website Mildura Victoria. It's a free website for visitors and locals in Mildura and has proven very popular with 1000's of visitors each month. Since 2005 the concept has been added to with 3 more similar websites for Bendigo, Ballarat and Swan Hill. More have been planned and should hopefully be launched in 2007/08 as time allows.
In 2007 we took Mildura Internet to the next step and formally offered Web Marketing programs - SEO Search Engine Optimisation and SEM Search Engine Management.
Although SEO and SEM have always been part of our work, recent demand from our customers and others, have lead us to develop some exciting new products. As a qualified Google AdWords Professional, Michael is looking forward to offering these great new services to everyone in the Mildura area and beyond.
